Every week I go to Publix.  I try to get the best deals I can.  Today I am disappointed because I thought my total would be lower.  I guess the good thing is that I still saved a lot of money. 

Here is what I got:

 I spent $115.83 but I saved $101.03.  Florida makes it harder to save money because they do not double any coupons, but I am still able to save by matching the week's ad with coupons.  

I bought 2 packages of Oscar Mayer Wieners 16 0z. Buy One Get One.

I bought 4 boxes of Emerald Breakfast on the Go! Buy One Get One  I used two $1 off Emerald Breakfast To-Go.  So I got two free and the other two had $1.00 off. 

I bought 4 Crystal Light Drink Mix. Buy One Get One. I used two $1/2 Crystal Light drink mix and got the other two free.

I bought Welch's Fruit Snack.  Buy One Get One. 

I bought Goodnites.  I had a store coupon for $3 off and also used a $2 coupon.  

I bought Weight Watchers Smart Ones Entrees.  They had a sale for 5/$10.  I bought 10 of them because I had a $4/10 coupon. 

I bought Smart Balance Milk because it was on sale for $2.50 and I had a $1 off coupon. 

I bought Stonyfield Oikos Organiz Greek Yogurt.  I had a coupon for $.50/2.

I bought 4 State Fair Corn Dogs.  I had two coupons for $1/2.  

I bought Dannon Light and Fit Yogurt on sale.  There was a store coupon $2/2 and I had another coupons for $.25.

Above are some of the products I purchased.  I can't wait to try out the new Kraft Fresh Take Cheese and Breadcrumbs Mix.  Hopefully we will have that tomorrow.

Organizing and Deals

Happy Sunday!!  Why is it that the weekend seems to go way too fast?  I always just need one more day to my weekend.  I think that would help me finish everything I need to each week.  

Anyways I had a lazy Saturday but a very productive Sunday.  My Hubbie and I filed through our paper clutter.  The paper clutter on our kitchen counter was getting out of control!  I wanted to get a new file cabinet because the plastic bin I had cracked and was letting all the files fall out.  I kept searching for a file cabinet but nothing really popped out at me.  So, after thinking about it and after rearranging my son's room and seeing someone else use a chest (Thanks Pinterest), I thought why not use my son's toy chest that is just sitting around.  So then I went to Office Max and got new files and a file rod.  My Hubbie put the rod together and placed it in the toy chest.  We grabbed the paper clutter from the kitchen and started organizing it.  This is how the toy chest looks now!  We had some extra room in the chest so we put the legal sized folders towards the front.  Yay!!  Now I have a file cabinet for the price of the folders and a lot more space on my kitchen counter.   

Sunday is usually the day I go grocery shopping.  I wasn't able to go last week because I was babysitting my mom's dogs so I went today.  I knew I wasn't going to do very well with savings this week because it didn't seem like I had that many coupons for what was on sale.  Here is a picture of what I bought. 

I spent $85.62 and saved $53.79.  I guess it isn't too bad because I still saved money.

 I went to Publix tonight.  I thought it wouldn't be busy since it was a Monday.  Boy, was I wrong!  It was packed.  I thought maybe so many people were there because of Valentine's Day tomorrow, but everyone was buying regular groceries.  Well, anyways I spent $63.96 and saved $51.22, however I do have a mail-in rebate for $10 from Tyson so really I saved $61.22.  Woo hoo!!

Adorable Valentine

I wanted to share my son's Valentine's.  He has a Valentine's exchange tomorrow at school.  Here is what I did.  I was nervous because I ordered the pictures from Snapfish on the 6th.  The delivery said it would take from 2 to 4 days.  Boy they were wrong!  I just received them today.  Eeek!  Talk about last minute.  I rushed to open them and check out the pictures.  Then I got busy slicing and stuffing the lollipops.  I think they turned out wonderfully! I love them.  I think they are SO adorable!  I want one. :-)

Sports Wreath

Every holiday my teammates and I switch names to have a secret person.  A week before the holiday we start our exchange.  We buy a dollar present everyday and then on last day we get a five dollar gift.  I decided for this holiday I would make my secret sweetheart her final present.  I decided to make her a Yarn Sports Wreath!  Here is how it turned out.  I think it came out really cute even though I don't care for the team.
