Birthday 15 Questions Tutorial

Hi!  Today I put together a Birthday 15 Questions for my son.  Each year on his birthday, I will ask him the same set of questions and write down his answers.  I got the idea from Reaves, Party of Four, but I incorporated my own twists to it.  The questions will start at age 3 and go until age 11. (That is how many pages are in the album I bought)  I think my son will love to see what he said when he gets older.

Here is what I started with.
SEI Preservation Series Album 8" by 8" (I got mine from JoAnn Fabrics online)
Reflection Alphabet and Number Stickers (Michael's)
Star Decorations (Michael's, clearance section)
Paper
Printer
I love when I can get cute decorations for cheap! Woohoo!

Next I added the name of my son to the album.  Then I put the stars on it.  Here is a picture of the front cover.

Inside I made a cover page that says what the book is for.

Then I created a document with the 15 questions I wanted to ask him year after year.  I also added a line at the bottom for him to write his name every year.  I thought this would be a nice touch to the page.  I made the page so that I could go ahead and put the book completely together and then pull out the page I need for how old he is.  I made a line so I could hand write his answers.  Then I printed out his picture so it would fit into the book.  I used Photoshop to write Happy Birthday on it and his age.  Then I printed it out and put at the opposite page.

I continued to add the questions to the whole book so that was one less thing I would have to do each year.  I also added a black strip of paper to the top of the question page with a number on it.  I thought this would just add a little cuteness to the page.

I absolutely LOVE how this has turned out so far.  I asked Liam the questions for 3 years old since he is 3.  Some of his answers are just too cute!  My heart melted when he said mommy was his best friend.  Aw, what a sweet lil boy!

I love this book.  I can't wait to hear his answers every year and see him write his name.
