Show Off Your Classroom Linky

Fultz Linky Button

I am joining Ms. Fultz's Show Off Your Classroom Linky Party!  I too love peeking at other classrooms.  I love looking to see how others set up their classrooms and how they decorate them.

Here is my classroom.  As you can tell it is very bright with the green walls.

The first picture is from one corner of my room.

Here is from another corner.

Here is my guided reading area.  The shelf to the right holds everything I need for guided reading.  The drawers behind the table are for math and math centers.  The lines you see on the left are my Sight Word Football Field.  The students have 12 lists for sight words they need to pass so this is my motivation chart.

This picture is probably my favorite.  This is my "Cozy Corner," our meeting area.  As you can see I need a new projector.  Mine is ready to break. (I just wish it would because it is so hard to see)

Classroom Library.

I hope you have enjoyed the peek into my classroom.

  1. I love the green. Our walls are white, but they're starting to look sort of dingy. I'm itching to repaint my bulletin boards, but I hate to take everything off them. ;) Your room looks really big too!

    1. Christi,
Thanks. The green is very bright! The room really isn't that big but I guess it is a nice size.

    1. Michelle,

Thanks! I am so used to the green walls I forget what normal walls look like. I have been very lucky to be in the same classroom for 7 years. Thanks for saying it looks so clean!

    1. Kelley,
Hi! I didn't paint the walls. That is how my classroom came. Half of the downstairs rooms are painted green and some are yellow and blue. When they built our school they decided to make it primary colors. It does make it look so nice. Just like having the red door. I about forgot about this linky. I think there is only a little time left to it.

  5. Love your photos! I work at Christa, so when I saw the green walls, red doors, and class rug they looked so familiar I had to see your photos. I love your football field idea! I've been trying to think of an idea similar that would go along with my jungle theme. I like tha rainbow idea (where students move to different colors), but with 12 lists haven't figured out how to make it work yet. Thanks for sharing your pictures--I want to share mine too, just because I know how much I love looking at Kindergareten classrooms. :)
